Out of the Haze-Inut Coffee

coffeel.jpg

This recipe is much like bulletproof coffee, minus the blender. We added a little fat in the form of butter to help with the absorption of cannabinoids. Plus, these healthy fats give the coffee a creamier texture.

Drink up and enjoy. After all, this recipe is enough for two cups! If your workday is coming to an end, add some Bailey’s!

Ingredients:

2 cups coffee, brewed

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup hazelnut oil

1 tablespoon sugar

1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

1 tsp Nutella

1 dropperful of unflavored CBD Tincture

*optional 1 1/2 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream

Directions:

  1. Brew the coffee.

  2. As the coffee brews, melt the butter over medium heat.

  3. Pour butter in the coffee and combine well.

  4. Add in the hazelnut oil, table sugar, ground cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Allow to heat for about five minutes.

  5. Meanwhile, beat the heavy whipping cream and Nutella in a small bowl.

  6. Pour the coffee mixture into two mugs.

  7. Spoon the Nutella mixture onto your drinks.

  8. Add in the Bailey’s and dropper of the CBD Tincture into each mug and enjoy.

Pet Treats

pet treat.jpg

1 1/2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded (equals about 3 ½ cups of raw chicken breast)

1 tablespoon margarine or sunflower oil

1/2 cup chicken stock (the water you cooked your chicken in)

1 cup whole wheat flour

1/3 cup cornmeal (dry)

Isolate amount per treat depends on pet size!

5mg for small, 10mg for medium, 15-20mg for large.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cover a baking sheet with oven safe paper.

  2. First cut away any fat/skin. Put it in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, lower the temperature to medium-high and let cook until it’s fork-tender. Remove the pot and cool.

  3. Take the chicken out of the pot (but save ½ cup of water) and shred. (food processor is easiest)

  4. In a bowl, mix together the chicken, water and melted margarine. In a separate bowl mix together the cornmeal and flour.

  5. Add the dry mixture to the wet one a handful a time to keep from making it too dry.

  6. Once you’ve formed the dough, slightly flour your working surface, then knead dough for a few seconds. Roll it out to 1/4 inch thick. Cut out your treats in any desired shape and place them on the baking sheet. They can be placed close together.. Bake for 20 minutes in the center of the oven as soon as they come out, sprinkle with isolate. Let them cool for about 10-15 minutes before your kitty or pooch try them!
